What is the Image of your self

Posted by psydetect on February 3, 2007

After reading Avanoo’s article about Lessons on How to Turn Big Failures into Big Successes  I remember the time when i was a F- type student in my high school years. It makes me have a long time to learn on my failures and inferiorities time by time. Let me share with you my learnd experience on how can change your self in a very practical ways.

The new science of self-image psychology made posible an important breakthrough in the field of psychology. I myself take no credit for the breakthrough, other than the recognition of it. The self image is the key to human personality and human behavior. Change the self image and you change the personality and the behavior. It defines what you can and cannot do. Expand the self image and you expand the “area of the possible.” There is an abundance of scientific evidence which shows that the human brain and nervous system operate purposefully in accordance with the known principles of self image psychology. This was also shows that any breakthrough in science is likely to come outside the system like in Quantum physics and some spiritual texts like kabbalah. According to the famous plastic surgeon in his remarkable discovery :

. “Experts” are the thoroughly familiar with the developed knowledge inside the prescribed boundaries of a given science. Any new knowledge must usually come from the outside- not by ” experts”, but by what someone has defined as an “Inpert.”-Maxwell Maltz. M.D. F.I.C.S.

Pasteur was not an M.D. The Wright brothers were not aeronautical engineers but bicycle mechanics. Einstein, properly speaking , was not a a physicist but a mathematician. Yet his findings in mathematics completely turned upside down all the pet the theories in physics. Madame Curie was not an M.D but physicist, yet she made important conributions to medical science.

There is an aboundance of scientific evidence which shows that the human brain and nervous system operate purposefully in accordance with the known principles of self-image psychology  to accomplish goals of the individual. Insofar as functions is concerned, the brain and nervous system constitute a marvelous and complex “goal-striving mechanism,” a sort of built in automatic guidance system which works for you as a success mechanism, or against you as “failure mechanisms,” depending on how “YOU” the operator, operate it and the goals you set for it.

Experiencing is the secret. The self image is changed, for the better of worse, not by intellect alone, nor by intellectual knowledge alone, but by “experiencing.” Wittingly or unwittingly you developed your self image by your creative experiencing in the past. You can change it by the method. It is not the child who is taught about love but the child who has expericed love that  grows into a healthy, happy, well-adjusted adult. Our present state of self-confidence and poise is the result of what we have “experienced” rather than what we have learnd intellectually. It also bridges the gap and resolves apparent conflicts between the various therapeutic methods used today. It furnishes a common denominator for direct and indirect counselling, clinical psychology, psychoanalysis, and even auto-suggestion. All in one way or another use creative experiencing to build a better self image. Regardless of theories, this is what really happens, for example, in the “therapeutic situation” employed by the psychoanalytical school: The analyst never criticizes, disapproves, or moralized, is never shocked, as the patient pours out his fears, his shames ,his guilt-feelings and his “bad thoughts.” For perhaps the first time in his life the patient experiences acceptance as a human being: he “feels” that his self has some worth and dignity, and he comes to accept himself, and to conceived of his “self” in new terms and views.-

One of our most precious human gifts is that we are born creators. We’re dreamers. Without that, I don’t hesitate to say we’d really be nothing at all.”

A Spirit, mind and body that makes us today

Posted by psydetect on January 25, 2007

Do you believed that our world are created by our spirit, mind and body? This is a question that sometimes we ask for ourselves to those who were scrutinizing the events and things around us and for the individual who were imbued in studying sciences and high intellectual knowledges of philosophies and kabbalah. The holy scripture states that we are created at our supreme creator’s  image and likeness (Genesis 1:26, 27.). If we look at the spiritual perspectives and in our scientific deliberation we will realize that we are also a pro-creator of our own world. In fact only a priveledge few know this spiritual truth and universal laws that govern the wholeness of cosmos.

We shall now see Awards winning scientific and spiritual evidence that shall convince you that you are at cause for everything in your world…and that you can change the effect any time.

All the things arounds us are not simply objects lying; they form a network of meanings, in and on and around which man organizes his life. Thus, we speak of the world of a student, of a teacher, of a farmer, a politician. Man is “in” the world not in the same sense as the cow is “in” the field. Both may be in the field but it is man who gives meaning to the field,  the cow, the sky and the plough.   According to some great spiritual sages thousand years ago and from the Nobel price winning Quantum physicists have recently (starting in the
1920s) proven beyond doubt that our physical world is a bundle of a great energy flashes into and out of being in a fraction of a second, minutes and 24/7. They have also proven that thoughts are what put together and hold together this ever-changing energy field into the “objects” that we see.

Our thoughts are connected to the Energy (light) and determine what energy forms  which causes things such as positive thinking, prayer, faith, creativity, goal-setting, disease, and much more in a very scientific and philosopical ways. Our thoughts literally shift the universe on a particle-by-particle basis to create our physical environment and most especially to create and cultivate our own world that depends in our intrest and desires and even in our emotions. Every tangible things that we created in our lives( i.e. cars, buildings, trains, breads, money, artificials etc) are the best product of our idea or shared knowledge and experiences that constitutes us ”  as a rational being” with gifted properties such as spirit, power of reasoning, brilliancy of intelligence, emotions (heart), morality, honor, freedom and some unique attributes or characteristics derive from the All loving God.

We literally become what we think or imagine most (self-image). And our life becomes what we have believed and “do” most in our life. What you hold in your mind with energy and focus will tend to be created in your reality. It takes a little longer to experience results because we keep changing our minds. Imagine going to a restaurant and ordering chicken soup. But before it arrives you change your order to won ton soup. And before that arrives you change your order back to chicken soup. You’ll sit there and complain, saying “I can never get what I want!”, when in reality you are the reason your soup is late! Most of us do that every day. Our indecision makes manifesting what we want nearly impossible. No wonder you end up feeling that you can’t get what you want. Yet, it doesn’t have to be that way. This notion falls into the category of mind sciences and covers under the umbrella of universal law. Scientifical reasearch shows like Quantum physics and some spiritual sages claims that the world is the mirror of ourselves, they also claim that our world is not the hard and unchangeable thing it may appear to be. Instead, it is a very fluid place continuously built up using our individual and collective thoughts, emotions and even our actions that makes our physical world as a society, family, planet, solar system and the universe.

Man, however, is not a pure subjectivity but a subjectivity incarnating itself, ” in flesh” so to say. What is your body made of? Tissues and organs. What are tissues and organs made of? Cells. What are cells made of? Molecules. What are molecules made of? Atoms. What are atoms made of? Sub- atomic particles. What are subatomic particles made of? Energy? No. They are not made of energy; they are energy. You are one big “chunk” of energy, A chunk of matter that is the lodging place of the spirit. The human body is a subject-body, already a meaning-giving exitence. In other words, human interiority always seeks to embody itself in a body structure or gesture. Embodiment is simply to make incarnate a meaning which comes from the inner core of man.

Energy is the sub-atomic particles that comes together to “make up” atoms, which come together to “make up” matter. Matter is energy. Matter is not converted energy, it is energy. One of the scientific proofs that our body and every matter in this world is a energy that comes from the well known scientist Albert Einstein’s equation, E=mc2? What it means is that any piece of matter of mass m is energy that can be calculated by
multiplying that mass by the speed of light squared (what a large number!). You are literally made up of light, the same stuff light is made of (hence the Bible tell us that light was the 2nd thing to be created). Scientifically speaking, this energy exists as waves spread out over space and time. Only when you exercise observation do these waves become particles localized as a spacetime event, a particle at a particular “time” and “space”.

As we noticed that our observation, our attention to something and our intention, creates space-time-event. This is scientific, even our relationships with other people is governed by the unfailing laws of cause and effect. Great spiritual sages stated that our own world  is made of spirit, mind and body. Each of those three, spirit, mind and body, has a function that is unique to it and not shared with the other. What you see with your eyes and experience with your body is the physical world, which we shall call Body. Body is an effect, created by a cause. This cause is Thought. Body cannot create. It can only experience and be experienced … that is its unique function. Thought cannot experience … it can only make up, create and interpret. It needs a world of relativity (the physical world, Body) to experience itself. Spirit is All That Is, that which gives Life to Thought and Body. Body has no power to create, although it gives the illusion of power to do so. This illusion is the cause of much frustration, as you will soon see.

Those examples is a only small part or a tiny pebbles in the universal mind of man. When we learn to scrutinized and deliberate in our childhood years every single moments of our lives we often gropping and searchinng the best  answers to our question such as : “How, If, When” and some general questions that grows and learnd in ourselves. The most special and natural gifts that we have from God is we are bound to answer this question that depends in our learned experience and in the level of our understanding or perceptions. We are gifted to have a “dreams” which makes our own world to fullfill our life’s task and the home page of our subjectivity and objectivity as we are now today. But all of this actions and perceptions are stick into one question as we learn to ask “How if i become a…And WHAT i will do?
